• Using machine learning to improve the ranking of groups recommended on Facebook.

• Used Python and OpenCV to process images of text and extract required fields and text from the images.
• As part of Business Services, Wholesale banking, developing a portal for global and industry leading client account onboarding and lifecycle management solution for fast, secure and efficient onboarding with streamlined client lifecycle experience.
• Some of the features developed are automated decision driven forms enabled for Secondary Account Opening, Know Your Customer(KYC) renewal, Sanctions Exposure Questionaire.
• Delivered an end-to-end customer journey for an urgent Covid-19 requirement- US Paycheck Protection programme, part of the US CARES Act stimulus package within 8 weeks amidst changing US govt guidance. After 1600 production releases by my team, a digital channel was provided to facilitate end-to-end loan forgiveness process.
• The portal is based on a microservice architecture and the technologies used are PostGreSQL, Java and React.

• Designed and developed an application(value stream mapping system) to analyze the value which each tool within a software production pipeline brings to enable product teams to speed up their work.
• Used REST APIs to gather data from tools like Jira, GitHub, Jenkins and store it in a MongoDB database.
• Wrote the back-end scripts in Python to fetch, aggregate and analyze the required data to find relations and inferences from it. Used Flask and React to render the application to the browser.

• Designed a business analytics dashboard to visualise the sentiment analysis of Facebook data analyzed using the Text Analytics API of Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services.

One of the top 8% out of the 10,000 undergraduate students from 9 different countries to undertake a MITACS Globalink Research Internship in Canada.

• Performed a systematic mapping study to research into the customization of technology for autistic individuals. The resultant research paper has been accepted for publication in an international journal. [link]
• Researched into gathering real-time data from two wearable devices(Python API’s and MATLAB) and analyzed them to study spikes in biological signals like heart rate,stress levels to facilitate immediate assistance to autistic children.

One of the top 100 students selected for the Eklavya Summer Internship Program at I.I.T Bombay, from amongst the 4000 students who applied from nearly 600 universities.

• Designed and created a customizable group learning application. USP of application is that profiles with various level of access rights to each tool can be created and tailored according to need.
• Developed group learning tools such as quiz, polls, notes, assignments, quiz, discussion forum, video conference. Each tool provided an in-depth analysis of the participation and performance of the group members.The web application was created using Java, Struts 2 framework, MySQL, HTML, Bootstrap.
